A Letter

Dear designers of women’s clothing,

I know that you have a calling to make beautiful clothes.  I know that you have a vision.  I respect that vision.  I also know that you want to make women look beautiful.  However, I believe there has been an oversight on your part.  Do you realize that women come in all shapes and sizes?   We are not the same!  Please, please design clothes that fit different women!  I know sometimes you get so engrosed in your ideas that you forget that women need to wear what you create.  Please remember!  These women have to endure the humiliation stress of trying to fit into something you designed for a toothpick to wear.  Real women have curves.  It does nothing for you to distress your potential consumers to the point where they live in sweats.  You disappoint me designers.   Please step up your game.

Sincerely,

Me

  1. I take it that you have not had any better luck in your pursuit of a dress. Maybe we can do a little shopping over the weekend. You know Grandmama is ALWAYS up for some shopping!
