Knit Lit

I am so tired the only thing that is kept me going this weekend was the knowledge that if I didn’t, my family would probably starve and walk around in filthy clothes.  I think the whole weekend; I had maybe an hour down time.  Look:

7:45 – 8:45 am          get up; shower; wake Boy Child; wake Hubby; get Boy Child dressed & fed;

8:45 – 9:10 am          drive to soccer fields

9:10 – 10:00 am        soccer practice because last 2-3 have been cancelled due to rain

10:00 – 11:15 am       1st Soccer game of the season – Boy Child scores a goal! Yea!

11:15 – 11:45 am       drive home; Boy Child jumps into shower

12:00 – 4:15 pm        drive to Montgomery

(should have taken 2 ½ hours max but ends up taking four because of stupid construction)

4:15 – 4:30 pm          drive to range

4:30 – 6:00 pm          shoot (I discovered I like the 45 caliber best. Go figure!)

6:00 – 8:30 pm          dinner with BIL & SIL

8:30 – 9:00 pm          drive home

9:00 – 9:30 pm          get Boy Child into bed; read him story; fall asleep;

9:30 – 9:32 pm          crawl out of Boy Child’s bed and into my own; fall asleep;

7:45 – 9:00 am          get up; shower; wake Boy Child & get him dressed & fed; go to church

 9:00 – 10:30 am       church

10:30 – 10:45 am      drive home

10:45 – 2:00 pm     laundry*; clean bathroom; clean bedroom; pick up living room; promptly mess living room back up;

2:00 – 4:15 pm         return library books; buy new (and properly sized) soccer cleats and shin guards for Boy Child; grocery shop;

4:15 – 4:30 pm           put away groceries

4:30 – 9:00 pm           laundry*, shower; cook dinner; eat; more laundry*

9:00 – 9:20 pm          read to Boy Child about Palm Sunday and Easter

9:20 – 11:00 pm         laundry*; knit a little while watching TV; go to bed;

* laundry was a constant project from 11:00 am until bed time.  I lost count on the number of loads, but I estimate it was between 8 and 10 not including hand washed items

6:30 – 7:30 am            get up; wake Boy Child & get him dressed & fed;

7:30 – 8:00 am           take Boy Child to school; go to work;

8:00 – 11:50 am     silently fume because new “receptionist” has not started work & old “receptionist” decides to waltz into work at 10:15 am thereby causing me to miss Mrs. S’s presentation on the Crucifixion; get fed up and flee to LYS;

11:50 – 1:20 pm       take refuge in fondling yarn; meet up with Mrs. S at LYS for a super quick visit;  buy pattern book have been wanting for a while at 40% off; drool over Mrs. S’s new bootie;

1:20 – 1:30 pm           reluctantly go back to work where unpleasantness abounds

1:30 – 5:10 pm            count down the minutes before I can go home

5:10 – 6:00 pm       drive home, stopping at Publix to stock up on my boys’ kiddie cereal they love so much (buy 1, get 1 free!)

6:00 – 10:00 pm       do nothing; eat cereal for dinner because I have no energy to cook
